Training
Our equality, diversity and inclusion courses are designed to support all staff in their day-to-day duties and promote respect and dignity for all of our campus community.
Workshops and courses
Diversity in the Workplace: Our diversity in the workplace e-learning outlines the University’s approach to equality, diversity and inclusion. This is a mandatory course, which must be completed by all staff within one month of joining the University.
Unconscious Bias: Our unconscious bias e-learning aims to increase awareness of unconscious bias and its impact on people with protected characteristics, and to reduce discriminatory behaviour and attitudes in the workplace. This course is recommended for all staff, and mandatory for all staff involved in recruitment, reward and promotions decisions
Staff can also attend a range of other equality diversity and inclusion courses that are designed to help front-line staff in their day-to-day duties and promote respect and dignity for all. You should discuss your training needs and attendance on courses with your line manager.
