The Sussex Sustainability Research Programme (SSRP) delivers interdisciplinary research to help achieve the global sustainability goals for humanity and the environment.

From local to global:
Project Spotlight 2023/24

We're delighted to be joined by and supporting five new cutting-edge projects, which will drive impactful sustainability research forward - both in our backyard and further afield. Selected as part of our 8th funding seed-funding call, the new initiatives will focus on diverse areas such as ecosystem recovery, territorial and indigenous rights, waterway resilience, equitable forest restoration, and place-based research for sustainability transitions.
